Main Quest ("the app") is developed and operated by Lapis Stone LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information. By using Main Quest, you agree to the practices described here.
The short version
We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Main Quest has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no developer-controlled servers. Everything you create in the app stays on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your own private iCloud account.
Information the app stores
Main Quest stores the content you create so the app can function, including:
- Your activity logs and time entries
- Categories, missions, and goals
- Achievements and progress (XP, tiers, streaks)
- App settings and preferences
This information is stored locally on your device. If iCloud is enabled for your Apple ID, the same data may sync through your private iCloud database, which is controlled by you and Apple under your Apple ID. We cannot access this data.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, or device identifiers.
- We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services.
- We do not use advertising or tracking technologies, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not send your content to us or to any third party.
Purchases
Main Quest offers an optional subscription, Main Quest+. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple handles billing and may process transaction information under Apple's Privacy Policy. We may receive anonymous, aggregate sales information from Apple that does not identify you.
Your control over your data
- You can permanently erase all app content at any time using Settings → Delete all data inside the app.
- Deleting the app removes its local data from your device. Data stored in your private iCloud is managed through your Apple ID settings.
Data security
Your content is stored using the security protections provided by iOS and, where applicable, Apple's iCloud. Because we do not collect or transmit your data to our own systems, it is not exposed to us or to third parties.
Children's privacy
Main Quest is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal data at all, no such information is gathered from any user.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and posting the revised policy at lapisstonegames.com/MainQuest-privacy.html. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
